Liberty Building Systems Introduces Acrylic-Coated Galvanized Secondary Framing

BARTLETT, Tennessee, September 26, 2005 -- Liberty Building Systems has introduced acrylic-coated galvanized C and Z members as the company's standard offering.  The value-added enhancement--at no additional cost to customers--offers significantly more durability and protection than the industry's customary primer paints.

"Our customers will notice improved performance, particularly at bolt holes, bend radii and along edges," said Tom Chaney, general manager of Liberty. " Where required on interior posts or other acrylic coated steel, a single coat of paint will bond directly to the Acrylic coating without requiring a primer base or etching."

Liberty Building Systems, Inc., a national metal building systems manufacturer based in Bartlett, Tenn., engineers and manufactures a broad line of quality buildings for agricultural, commercial, industrial, institutional and self-storage applications. The company operates a manufacturing facility in Selmer, Tenn., and is as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Butler Manufacturing Company, a BlueScope Steel company.
