Memphis, Tenn., Feb. 1, 2010 – Brothers Andy and Alex Roberts were ready to stop leasing and expand in to their own space to house their heating and cooling business in Carlisle, Iowa. Thankfully, the brothers happened to be good friends with local contractor, Dane Wright of D. Wright construction. The two had given each other business on many occasions, and when the order called for a new building, the Roberts brothers knew just who to call.
Memphis-based Liberty Building Systems™ was commissioned to provide a metal building solution for Roberts Heating and Cooling, and according to Wright, choosing metal just made sense.
“A metal building provides ample interior space in the quickest amount of time,” Wright said. “No need to worry about columns or anything like a wood structure would have. And the finished product looks great on the outside to match the surrounding buildings.”
Liberty supplied the metal building system for this 4,536-square-foot building solution, including clearspan framing, 26-gauge LibertyRib® wall panels in ash gray, 26-gauge LibertyRib® Galvalume® roof panels in harbor blue trim and an interior metal liner. Overhead Doors of Iowa supplied two overhead doors with electric operators for the structure. D. Wright Construction served as the general contractor, architect and erector for the project.
