New Tool Simplifies Color Selection Process

Memphis, Tenn., June 15, 2009 – Liberty Building Systems™ has developed a new color deck to demonstrate the expanded color offerings available for its wall and roof panels. Liberty designed the color deck as a helpful tool for customers to use when selecting finishes for their metal buildings.

With perforated edges along the top, the 3-inch circular chips are easily removable from the deck. This design concept allows customers to position colors next to one another to ensure the perfect color combination. Additionally, the detachable chips ease the process of matching new panels to existing buildings.

There are four standard FreedomCote™ finishes and 20 premium Kynar colors represented. In addition to its color selections, Liberty also offers a Galvalume® sample in the deck.

Liberty’s FreedomCote finish is a thermoset coating system composed of polyester resin, which has been modified with a silicon resin. FreedomCote offers protection to the elements with special consideration to chalk and fade resistance. The standard finish is available with a 25-year warranty.

The Kynar paint system combines ceramic pigmentation with polyvinylidene fluoride for superior performance.  Kynar has a strong reputation for its durability to chalk, fading and chemicals. Each premium finish is backed by a 30-year warranty.
