Liberty Building Systems offers customers acrylic-coated G30 secondary framing on all standard metal building applications at no additional cost. This finish offers better performance than industry standard prime paint. The clear acrylic coating acts as a prime paint finish, improves the roll forming characteristics of the steel and reduces the formation of white rust. Also, the acrylic finish easily accepts common post paint and dry-fall applications. No priming or etching is required.
Please Note:
Unpainted materials shall conform to ASTM A792 Acrylic Coated Galvalume® (ACG) coating consisting of 55% aluminum, 1.6% silicon and the balance zinc by weight (AZ55). Yield strength will vary by panel profile and gauge. Please inquire for specific minimum yield strength (Differential appearance of Acrylic Coated Galvalume roofing materials is not a cause for rejection).
Painted material shall conform to conform to ASTM A446 (or A653) and be hot dipped galvanized with a substrate coating as per ASTM A525 (0r A924), OR Galvalume® conforming to ASTM A792 with a AZ50 coating. Yield strength will vary by panel profile and gauge. Please inquire for specific minimum yield strength.
