BARTLETT, Tenn., October 2, 2006 - Liberty Building Systems (www.LibertyBuildings.com) has announced plans to establish a national network of allied distributors for the company's new EasyBuild® line of pre-engineered metal buildings. Qualified distributors will have designated sales territories and will be supported by co-op advertising, marketing materials, erection manuals, inquiries referred from the manufacturer, and Liberty's customer service specialists. The distributors can sell the metal buildings with or without construction services.
A small group of college students demonstrated the simplicity of erection recently in a remote village of Guatemala where they erected a dual-purpose school and community facility in less than four days. The clear-span buildings erect on a concrete foundation and meet or exceed most local US building codes. Heavy, primary framing has been eliminated in favor of prepunched light-gauge structurals and cladding components.
The manufacturer offers a variety of standard sizes in lengths of 24 feet that will accept additional 12-foot bays. Eave heights are 8-feet, 10-feet, 12-feet and 14-feet with a 2:12” roof slope. The company offers 11, durable color finishes backed by a 4-year warranty and a single source for optional roll-up and standard doors, window framing and trim, gutters and downspouts, liner panels, base trim and roof sealant.
Liberty Building Systems, Inc., operates nationwide from headquarters and engineering offices in Bartlett, Tenn. The company has an AISC-certified manufacturing facility in Selmer, Tenn., and is as a wholly owned subsidiary of Butler Manufacturing Company, a BlueScope Steel Company.
