Memphis, Tenn., July 8,2009 – David English, P.E., corporate accounts and quote manager for Memphis-based Liberty Building Systems™, successfully completed the LEED for New Construction exam to become a LEED Accredited Professional.
“With David’s understanding of green building practices and principles, Liberty now has a greater ability to advise customers on the LEED Rating System to help them achieve LEED certification for metal buildings,” said Anthony Idle, general manager for Liberty.
“The benefit for Liberty’s customers in having LEED APs on staff is that we will be able to provide them with answers to questions about LEED certification and tell them how Liberty can help them achieve certain LEED credits,” English said. “There is a lot of confusion about what ‘LEED’ and ‘Green Building’ means, and we can play an important role in clearing that up for our customers.”
English is responsible for servicing Liberty’s major accounts with corporations such as Dollar General and Aaron’s Rents. He has seven years of experience in the metal building industry.
