| In 2007, Liberty expanded its standard self-storage offering to give customers a more attractive, quality self-storage solution at a competitive price. The new standard options include a 40-year warranty on Liberty’s FreedomCote™ paint finish, acrylic-coated G30 galvanized framing and pre-cut embossed mullions and headers. In addition, Liberty offers new self-storage upgrades including standing seam roof panels and an interior corridor system for climate-controlled projects, like this one in Kansas City, Kansas. |
The five-building complex developed just off Interstate Highway 70 in Kansas City, Kansas, embodies a logical percentage of climate-controlled self-storage for the immediate market area. Strickland Construction Company, a builder in Olathe, Kansas, built the project with Byers, Gunn and Hart serving as project architects.
Liberty Building Systems of Bartlett, Tennessee, supplied the metal building materials on the Simply Self Storage complex at this location. All five applied pre-engineered structural systems, standing seam metal roof systems, metal wall panels, partitions and doors. The 18,000-sq.-ft main building includes 800-sq.-ft. allocated for rental office operations and 10,500 sq. ft. for climate-controlled units; a 14,750-sq.-ft. building devotes 9425 sq. ft. to climate-controlled space, whereas another 13,775-sq.-ft. building has 1800 sq. ft. in climate-controlled units. The remaining 8400-sq.-ft. and 12,000-sq.-ft. buildings are both rented for ambient temperature storage.
Liberty Building Systems, Inc., www.LibertyBuildings.com, is a national company that engineers and manufactures a broad line of metal buildings for agricultural, commercial, industrial and self-storage applications.
