| Liberty Building Systems manufactured this multi-use agricultural building for Weston, Missouri-based Strickland Farms recently. The building is used for temporary grain storage from three to five months out of the year. Strickland Farms utilizes the building for farm equipment storage the remainder of the time. |
Strickland Construction Co., Inc., Olathe, Kansas, designed and constructed the metal building for Rogers Strickland, a large farm operator and metal building contractor. The building was manufactured by Liberty Building Systems, Bartlett, Tenn., and contains an in-floor grain conveyor system. Strickland uses the facility as temporary grain storage for three to five months, and as equipment storage or a farm shop the remainder of the year. The building can be converted to many other uses should farming cease to be the major purpose of the property, whereas an investment in a 100,000-bushel grain bin would produce a structure dedicated to only one use.
Liberty Building Systems, Inc., (www.LibertyBuildings.com) operates as a business unit within Butler Buildings North America, a subsidiary of BlueScope Steel. Liberty sells metal buildings nationwide through multiple distribution channels. The company's headquarters and engineering offices are in Bartlett, a Memphis suburb, and has manufacturing plant operations in Selmer, both in Tennessee.
