BARTLETT, Tenn., May 9, 2007 - Liberty Building Systems has introduced the LibertyLoc™ standing seam metal roof system as the latest addition to the company's expanding product depth of metal building systems. The structural standing seam metal roof, which carries a UL Class 90 Wind Uplift rating, requires a minimum 1/4:12" pitch and can be either mechanically- or hand-seamed to create a weathertight, continuous steel membrane. The exposed panels are offered in both standard acrylic-coated Galvalume™ or optional fluoropolymer resin-based Kynar color finishes that carry a 30-year warranty.

The 24" wide panels feature 3 1/16" high trapezoidal seams incorporating factory-applied sealant and clips used as the panel to structural connections. The seamed-in-place clips are designed with a provision that accepts up to 3 1/2" of thermal movement. The panels ship in lengths from 5' to 45'. A spacer thermal block and extended clip can be used to incorporate 4" or greater roof insulation barriers.
